How often should AHU filters be changed?

Pre-filters every 1–3 months, medium filters every 3–6 months, HEPA every 6–12 months — based on measured pressure drop. We fit simple manometers so building engineers can monitor it themselves.

Why is airflow weak even though the fan runs?

Usual suspects: loaded filters, a fouled coil, a slipping belt, or dampers that have drifted out of position. An on-site CFM measurement pinpoints the restriction immediately.

Can you service AHUs outside office hours?

Yes — most building AHU work is scheduled at night or on weekends, unit by unit, so cooling is never fully interrupted.

Do you handle hospital and cleanroom AHUs?

Yes, including HEPA replacement and particle-count verification. For isolation and operating rooms we follow the applicable room-pressure protocols.

Common AHU faults we fix (motor, bearing, belt, coil leak, VFD trip)

Most AHU breakdowns we are called to fall into five groups:

Motor & bearings — motors overheating or burning out after long overload, worn fan bearings that vibrate and grind. We measure current and vibration first, then decide between a bearing change and a motor rewind or replacement.
Loose, cracked or broken belts — a worn drive lowers fan RPM and airflow drops sharply even though the motor sounds normal.
Leaking or frozen coils — a refrigerant leak cuts cooling capacity, while a frosted coil usually points to blocked airflow or low refrigerant pressure.
Heavily clogged filters — dust and grease push the pressure drop far above normal, forcing the fan to work harder and raising the building's power bill.
Controls & VFD/inverter faults — repeated trips, error codes, faulty temperature or pressure sensors, and VFD programs that need a reset or full reprogramming.

Contract clients get 24/7 emergency priority. Non-contract clients are served Monday–Saturday 08:00–17:00 WIB; for critical conditions such as a burning smell, smoke or a major water leak we aim for a same-day visit across Greater Jakarta. The workflow is identical on every project, from a shop-house to a factory — so you always know exactly where things stand:

Site survey (free) — we visit, measure the area, check installation routes, electrical capacity and structure. In factories we also note the production processes that drive heat loads.
BoQ & working drawings — within 2–5 working days you receive a written bill of quantity, material specifications and drawings. The price we quote is the price we invoice.
Installation — K3- and BNSP-certified crews work to the agreed schedule, including nights and weekends when production cannot stop.
Testing & commissioning — airflow, temperature and electrical readings are documented in a commissioning report, followed by handover with a written 12-month warranty.
